Following organizational changes made in 2025, the Yankee group no longer offers direct membership to the former Yankee Genealogical Society. You are welcome to be part of our activities as long as you are a member of the Minnesota Society (mngs.org). MGS members can enter their online profile and indicate (near the bottom) an interest in participating with the available Interest Groups.
Our quarterly meetings are held at the Minnesota Genealogy Center (MGC) in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and appear on the Upcoming Events listing at
mngs.org.
MNYIG focuses on genealogical research in the states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. You are welcome to attend our meetings and take advantage of the Hoffman Research Library at MGC, whether or not you are a member of the Interest Group.
